Auchan Group, the major France-based retailer, has just signed a memorandum of understanding recognizing ICTI CARE Process certification as meeting their ethical sourcing requirements. Auchan Group includes 515 hypermarkets in 13 countries, with an additional 740 wholly-owned supermarkets in five countries. And through its Immochan subsidiary it manages 297 shopping centres in 12 countries. 欧尚集团，法国主要零售商之一，在2010年1月份正式与ICTI委员会签订意向书，确认将ICTI全球关爱认证作为集团道德采购的要求指标。欧尚集团拥有全球13个国家共计515家特大超级商场，更在5个国家设立了740家全资超市。其子公司在全球12个国家管理着多达297个购物中心。

Alain Mulliez, International Toy Convergence Manager of Auchan, said his recognition gives Auchan a serious lever to increase its requirement for compliance with its ethical principles. Christian Ewert, President/CEO of the ICTI CARE Foundation, observed that "We are very happy that we were able to sign the MOU with Auchan. I am encouraged and optimistic that this acceptance of the ICTI Code of Business Practices will encourage others to follow this step to ensure better conditions for workers in the toy industry supply chain."
